Traditional teaching pedagogy has the young learning from the old. To improve learning in abusiness environment, generational differences have been identified as being potentialbarriers between people. There is a growing realisation that technology can be used to bridgethe gap between young and old using reverse mentoring. Moving beyond the confines ofusing reverse intergenerational learning as a tool for only learning new IT has not yet gainedgeneral acceptance in the wider business environment. Surely this represents a missedopportunity.
